Colours of Britain Gallery

Kingfishers are a well-photographed bird, yet until now the nocturnal side of their life had not been recorded. So when I discovered a kingfisher on his night-time roost, I took every opportunity to photograph and study him.  When it snowed at 2am, I was there, in the dark, covered in snow and standing knee-deep in the river! Enjoy these unique images of one of our best-loved birds.

Wildlife Photography Courses

Whether you just want to understand your camera better and love wildlife, or are a serious amateur looking to take your photography further, I offer tailored tuition on a variety of courses. Your photography day can be as part of a group or as an individual - I design the content to suit you. Most courses are held in Gloucestershire or London, but other locations are possible.
